Unintended applications of vintage elements. The noble and reliable scout and the direputable athlete - yes, before our modern idolisation and adulation of the sports figure, there was a time when these fellows were considered to be lower than people in the Show Business! Even lower than artists! Balance from imbalance and yet another collectable image from the PQ Ribber Collection!

Scout City

A purple metropolis, mysterious heraldry and loyal, obidient and true scouts - time, itself runs amok. Free of context, it assumes different characteristics. Night has fallen and it may rain; stay tuned and support our sponsor: custom digital eye candies in archival art prints.

Permutations and a heroic theme - a noble bruin hardly notices the aspirations that go around about him. He is already thinking of his winter hibernation and dreaming of fish. The bluebirds of happiness oversee things to assure quality of experience. Is the fish in the dream smiling? Only you can decide, for sure.

Elvis for EVERYONE

This work was done for a show (still up as of this posting and should be until mid-October at the M Gallery, on Main Street, in Truth of Conseqences, New Mexico. I have always gotten the odd feeling that I am looking at a mispelled word whenever I see the name Elvis... An iconic figure, no doubt. I did a second version of this with a couple of other elements, but wound up reverting to this simpler rendition.

Tesla Dream

Tesla's work affects so much of our lives - it is his world and if you read about the man, he was pretty 'out there'. However, some insist that he was able to transmit wireless free electricity... Light, life, and this entire realm of internet. Find out more about my art, maybe own some -

The sportsman of the 19th century is affected deeply by the blue specked eel. How do they feel? The birds have appeal as they squeal. The colors on this one are quite soothing. Is they art?

There is always much more going on than we can possibly percieve. I hate when I miss important things again and again, but all I can do is make efforts and art and hope to somehow balance things. and you could add this work to your art portfolio!

Time moves.

The temptation to set this acrobatic feat in some colorful pattern is outvoted by the way it looks, as is. By the way, the Conspiracy of the Insignificant podcast has been revived for a new, Fall 2009 Season at ! Tell me what you think:

You're Off Your Base Again

Persistence of vision is challenged and there is a very jarring optical record skipping effect to this wonder of the modern world. This was the very first one of these that I printed in large format and it sure does look cool and different!
